CRSIC Concrete Batching Plant Goes from Land to Sea

The floating concrete mixer, "Zhejiaogong Concrete No.1", invested by Zhejiang Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd. and manufactured  by CRSIC, was successfully launched in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China in 2022. It is used for construction  of bridge piers and girders on Ningde-Shangrao Expressway.

"Zhejiaogong Concrete No.1", the offshore mobile concrete production plant (L*W*H=80m*30m*5.8m) , integrated material storage, metering, mixing and pumping, is mainly used for concrete production of sea & river crossing projects, as well as projects along coastline, river ports and wharves. Its maximum working radius is 46m, with maximum load capacity of 5,196 tons and full-load operating displacement of 8,372 tons.

This floating concrete mixer can provide goods and materials needed for concrete production and workers' living for 45 consecutive days with one replenishment, and can produce a maximum of 1,800 m3  concrete to meet long time offshore construction.

Considering of adverse working conditions and environmental protection, several typical designs are tailored for this mixer. A special structure is designed to prevent load cell fall, when the vessel floats in waving water. The floating concrete mixer can withstand  grade 8 gale during operation and anchor safely at the site during grade 10 gale . What is more, the vessel is equipped with a sewage treatment device and an independent waste space to meet environmental protection requirements of offshore construction.

"Zhejiaogong Concrete No.1" marks the construction of CRSIC concrete batching plant from land to sea. Owing to CRSIC’s advantages in the field of marine & ports equipment and concrete batching plant design and manufacture, “Zhejiaogong Concrete No.1” is perfectly fabricated and used well on site for now. Marine & ports equipment is a new impulse for CRSIC’s future development of marine and ports and  concrete batching plant.
