Top 10 advanced equipment developed by central SOEs - “Gonggong”

“Guozi Xiaoxin”, the new media platform of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) News Center recently released the top 10 advanced equipment developed by centrally administered State-owned enterprises in 2022 based on votes of internet users, big data analysis, and experts' opinions.

"Gonggong", the world's first pile-beam integrated bridge erector, developed by our company (CRSIC) was successfully selected, together with China-developed C919 large passenger aircraft, China's third aircraft carrier and etc.

“Gonggong”, the 92m long and 575 tons double-truss main beam structure, is tailored for bridge construction in shallow lakes, marshes, environmental protection zones, downtown, and other areas where traditional construction methods cannot be applied. Its operation span ranges from 16m (heavy-duty) to 48m, and its Beidou positioning system enhances precise piling and erecting.

“Gonggong” realizes the new bridge construction mode of factory prefabrication, lean management, modular assembly, and intelligent erection, which leads the world bridge construction revolution into the 3.0 era.
