Sri Lanka Delegation Visited CRSIC

On June 8, Hon. Rohan Ratwatte, State Minister of Plantation industries of Sri Lanka, and the delegation visited CRSIC. Mr. Jiao Weihua, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman, Mr. Liu Jiping, Deputy General Manager, and related personnel received the visitors.

During the visit, the delegation went to Jiangxia manufacturing base of CRSIC to experience the "New Era" suspended monorail. State Minister Ratwatte highly affirmed the technology and the promotion value of the monorail. The monorail developed by CRSIC features  open view, less land occupation, high cost performance, all-territory operation, etc., compared with traditional rail transportation.

Then, the delegation attended the meeting for the further discussion on the relevant cooperation matters in our head office. Mr. Jiao Weihua introduced the industry status, technological innovation, and manufacturing advantages of our construction equipment. Meanwhile, he expressed the hope that CRSIC would take this meeting as an opportunity to build a bridge of cooperation between the two countries in the field of engineering construction and mechanical manufacturing.

State Minister Ratwatte introduced the Kandy Circumferential Metro Railway Line Project in Sri Lanka, which is planning to build a circumferential metro railway line within the Kandy city. After the completion of the project, it can ease the traffic jam in Kandy, and attract tourists to visit the city and play a role in promoting the development of local tourism. In the future, he expects to have in-depth cooperation with CRSIC in the fields of suspended monorail, mining and photovoltaic in Sri Lanka market.
