Brief Introduction

Qingdao World Expo City Pavilion is located in the south of the core area of the New District in the west coast of Qingdao, close to Coastal Road, with a total area of about 3000 acres. It is designed to be a mixed space with highly mixed organization modes, integrating commerce, business, entertainment, living, leisure, education and medical care.

The pavilion adopts the array-type structure in the construction design, 12 standard exhibition halls are separated by the galleries from the north, the south, the east and the west, the layout of the standard halls are the same, and the dimensions of each hall is 74.4m×136.4 m. There are four exhibition halls in the corners of the pavilion and eight halls in the middle. The weight of outer halls and the middle halls is about 1100t and 1000t separately. The steel volumes of the pavilion are 12400t. The gallery is single-storey building, the layout of the flat surface is cross shape with the length of 507m from the east to the west and 287m from the south to the north, the elevation of the highest point is 35m. To ensure the stability in structure and the requirements of the appearance, it adopts the new materials ----- Prestressing High Vanadium Cable.
